- Paper

The recycling of paper starts with using the water and chemicals to eliminate the contaminated ink and cause the paper to become fiber. Then, the fiber is cleaned and is ready to enter the production process. The production of 1 ton of paper needs 17 trees and 4,100-hilowatt energy and that means 6-month electricity.

- Plastic

There are 2 main types of plastic. First is the thermosetting plastic which is “not recyclable” as it is in permanent shape that cannot be melted again. The second type is the recyclable plastic or thermoplastic. This type of plastic is melted with heat and become solid again when the temperature is lower. This plastic “can be recycled”. To make it easy for effective plastic container categorization, the symbols are branded on the containers widely as described in the past Happy Family issue.
